Bio :

Radek Soukup, born in Pilsen (Czech Republic) in 1980, received his M.Sc. degree (2004) in electrical engineering and his Ph.D. degree (2009) in electronics technologies from the University of West Bohemia (UWB). During his studies he completed a one-year internship in Siemens VDO in Regensburg, Germany and spent two semesters as an exchange student at the Danish Technical University, Kopenhagen, DK and at the Brunel University, London, UK. He worked two years as a quality engineer at Continental AG in Germany. Since 2009 he has been working as a senior lecturer and research project manager at the Department of Technologies and Measurement at the UWB. He is focused on research in smart textiles and printed electronics.
